Syed Hussain, MD

About the provider

Dr. Hussain serves as the division chairman for vascular surgery at Christie Clinic, and is also an assistant professor of clinical surgery at the University of Illinois.

He has written multiple articles on vascular disease topics in peer-reviewed journals, as well as multiple book chapters on vascular disease. He is an invited speaker at many national and international vascular meetings. He and his group participate in many cutting-edge vascular trials bringing the latest technology and therapies to central and eastern Illinois.

He currently serves as the national principal investigator for a new aneurysm stent graft available only in eastern Illinois. In addition, he has served as an instructor for vascular surgery techniques to other physicians in the central and eastern Illinois region.
