$99 Lung Scan

A lung scan is used to detect lung cancer at a very early stage—when it's more likely to be treated successfully. The screening uses low-dose computed tomography (CT), which is painless and takes less than five minutes to complete.

Who should get a lung scan?

The American Cancer Society recommends a yearly lung cancer screening for people who:

  • Are 50 to 80 years old and in fairly good health,
    and
  • Currently smoke or have quit in the past 15 years,
    and
  • Have at least a 20 pack-year smoking history.

The cost is $99 at the time of the scan. A medical order is required. Call 217-466-4755 to schedule an appointment.
