Pulmonologist
Horizon Health has an opportunity for a Pulmonologist to join our growing organization.
We are a critical access hospital and group of rural health clinics, but much larger in scope and size than typical rural organizations. We are looking for a Pulmonologist to join our team to expand and meet the growing pulmonary needs of our patients. This employed position primarily will be outpatient-focused with a small number of inpatient consults. The Pulmonologist will provide reads for PFTs. Qualified candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Pulmonology, have excellent communication skills, 3 years of experience in pulmonology preferred, and a patient-centered approach to providing care.
Your specialty practice will be supported with a strong primary care group of 19 primary care physicians and providers, with specialty support in behavioral health, women’s services, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, pain, dermatology, podiatry, endocrinology, wound care, and cardiology. Additionally, we have 12 visiting specialists that see patients in the clinic each month. The hospital has a 24/7 hospitalist service and convenient care for patients. We have a physician friendly EMR. In 2023, we completed expansion projects including adding an outpatient dialysis center, home health services, pre-anesthesia clinic, and cutting-edge radiology updates.
