Honorary Brick Campaign

The Foundation has provided funding for the following projects:

  • Emergency Department Renovations The ED renovation project was a collaborative effort involving ER leadership, nursing staff, nurse practitioners, and physicians. It was supported by the Horizon Health Foundation Board of Directors through a generous $4 million donation that also funded improvements to the adjoining Paris Clinic
  • New Facilities In 2024, the Horizon Health Foundation Board of Directors awarded $1.2 million in funding to support the following projects:
  • Phipps Lane Annex – Located at 1 Phipps Lane in Paris, the building houses an EZ Care walk-in clinic, the Occupational Health Clinic, the North American Lighting (NAL) Health Clinic, and dermatology services.
  • Outpatient Surgery Expansion – The expansion provides more beds, resources, and room to better serve our patients.
  • Rehabilitation Services – A new 21,000-square-foot facility located behind the hospital provides comprehensive rehab services, and is also equipped with a dialysis center.
  • Phipps Fund – This special fund was established in memory of the late Dr. Leland Phipps, one of the founders of our foundation. The fund is used for health services and resources that were important to Dr. Phipps. These include recruiting talented physicians and other healthcare professionals, providing special resources for the care of families and children, and providing long-term financial stability of locally-managed healthcare services.
