Neurology
Horizon Health has an opportunity for a Neurologist to join our growing organization.
We are a critical access hospital and group of rural health clinics, but much larger in scope and size than typical rural organizations. We have cutting-edge technology, new offerings for the communities we serve, strong specialty support, and still have the small-town approach and values that make our organization so special.
We are looking for a Neurologist to join our team to expand and meet the growing neurology needs of our patients. This employed physician position will see patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings and have interest in performing EMG, EEG, and NCS procedures. Qualified candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Neurology, have excellent communication skills, 3 years of experience in neurology preferred, and a patient-centered approach to providing care.
Your specialty practice will be supported with a strong primary care group of 19 primary care physicians and providers, with specialty support in behavioral health, women’s services, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, pain, dermatology, podiatry, endocrinology, wound care, and cardiology. Additionally, we have 12 visiting specialists that see patients in the clinic each month. The hospital has a 24/7 hospitalist service and convenient care for patients. We have a physician friendly EMR. In 2023, we completed expansion projects including adding an outpatient dialysis center, home health services, pre-anesthesia clinic, and cutting-edge radiology updates.
