Sycamore Pain & Wellness Expands Mental Health Services

Chantelle Allen continues to strengthen healthcare in the Wabash Valley through her commitment to professional excellence, recently earning board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

After years of treating patients with chronic pain at Sycamore Pain & Wellness, a service of Horizon Health, Chantelle recently expanded her practice to include outpatient behavioral health services. This addition strengthens the clinic’s behavioral health team while complementing its comprehensive range of health and wellness services.

Chantelle’s clinical experience in psychiatry, chronic pain management, and addiction medicine allows her to provide integrated, whole-person care that recognizes the connection between physical and mental health.

“Mental and physical health go hand in hand,” Chantelle explained. “This additional certification allows me to better address the challenges our patients face and provide more comprehensive care.”

Chantelle provides outpatient care for children ages 3 and older, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in complex pain medication management, substance use disorders, and psychiatric care, offering evidence-based evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management tailored to each patient's needs.

In addition to treating chronic pain and substance use disorders, Chantelle cares for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, PTSD, eating disorders, and schizophrenia. As an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), she has a special interest in treating ADHD across the lifespan, combining medication management with behavioral interventions.
