Horizon Health Hosts "Take Back Control" Educational Events

Horizon Health will offer two free educational programs to help community members learn about treatment options for bladder and bowel conditions through its “Take Back Control” event.

Participants may choose from one of two sessions:

• A virtual webinar on Tuesday, August 11, at 2 pm.
• An in-person Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, August 19, from noon to 1 pm, at the Horizon Health Education Center, 15197 U.S. Highway 150, Paris. A complimentary lunch will be provided.

Dr. Michael Shanks, Horizon Health board-certified urologist, will discuss the signs, symptoms, and treatment options for overactive bladder, urinary retention, and bowel incontinence. Participants will learn about these common conditions, explore the latest treatment options, and have the opportunity to ask questions.

The event is sponsored by Axonics and is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required.
