Horizon Health Introduces Chiropractic Care

Horizon Health has added chiropractic care to its comprehensive list of specialty services.

Starting in June, Chiropractor Cameron Elmore will see patients full-time at the Paris Clinic. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, he diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal conditions using conservative, non-medication treatment options. He specializes in spinal and extremity manipulation, physical rehabilitation programming, and evidence-based treatment planning.

Jay Carmichael, Horizon Health President & CEO, said many people are looking for a more holistic solution for musculoskeletal pain and believes the service complements existing Horizon Health services.

“We look forward to introducing chiropractic care as we continue to expand our specialty service offerings,” he said. “Chiropractic care contributes to positive patient outcomes, particularly when integrated into a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals like ours.”

Chiropractic care offers solutions for upper and lower back pain, joint pain, headaches and migraines, and other conditions through manual and instrument-assisted techniques.

“I believe medical care and chiropractic care should be integrated, not treated separately,” Dr. Elmore explained. “Our shared goal is to reduce pain and improve overall function.”

Patients at Horizon Health will benefit from the addition of chiropractic services through its collaborative, team-based approach to care that includes primary care providers, specialists, and other support services.

“For me, it’s great to have such a wealth of knowledge around me,” Dr. Elmore said.

A Paris native, Dr. Elmore operated a private chiropractic service in Clinton, Indiana, since 2023. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. He also holds a master’s degree in sports medicine and rehabilitation and a bachelor’s degree in life science from Logan College.

In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports and coaching youth baseball.

Dr. Elmore sees patients Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. A referral is not required. To schedule an appointment, call 217-466-4647.
