Horizon Health Announces Opening of Tilton Clinic

Horizon Health’s Tilton Clinic is now accepting patients of all ages.

The family medicine clinic at 2 Illiana Drive, Suite C, in Tilton, Illinois, is located across from the Toyota dealership off Illinois Route 1.

Initially, the clinic will be open Tuesdays, from 8 am to 4 pm, and Thursdays, from 9 am to 3 pm. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.

This “soft opening” features care from Horizon Health’s existing team of providers. Full-time hours in Tilton will be available soon, once the clinic’s primary provider, Megan Paxson, family nurse practitioner, completes the final steps of onboarding. Megan is from Rockville, Indiana, and is committed to delivering high quality, hometown medicine.

“I’m very proud of my smalltown roots,” said Megan. “I’m thrilled to find an opportunity that values those roots. I’m a ‘relationship person,’ and I cannot wait to meet the Tilton community and become their trusted provider for family medicine.”

Family medicine treats a full range of medical issues with a focus on health and wellness. It offers general healthcare for the entire family, from children to adults, and addresses both ongoing conditions as well as urgent, short-term needs.

“We appreciate the community’s patience as we finalize our long-term plans for this highly anticipated clinic,” said Lacey Stults, Horizon Health vice president of clinic operations. “In the meantime, family medicine services are currently available to serve the Tilton community.”
