Horizon Health Hosts Open House at Marshall Clinic

New family medicine service now available

Get a first-hand look at the newest addition to the Marshall Clinic at an open house Thursday, September 25.

The event, sponsored by Horizon Health, will take place from 4 to 6 pm at 1000 North 2nd Street in Marshall, Illinois. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 4:30 pm. Giveaways, refreshments, educational materials, facility tours, and staff meet-and-greets will be available.

A family medicine service recently opened at the Marshall Clinic and is led by Nurse Practitioner Mallory Simonton. The Marshall Clinic also houses an EZ Care walk-in clinic, which was relocated to the building last April. X-ray capabilities are available to support both services.

To accommodate the September 25 open house, Marshall EZ Care will close at 3 pm. Patients needing to be seen can visit Paris EZ Care, which is open from 9 am to 7 pm, at 1 Phipps Lane.

Family medicine treats a full range of medical issues with a focus on health and wellness. Marshall Clinic family medicine is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, from 8 am to 5 pm; and Wednesday, from 7 am to 4 pm. Appointments are required.

EZ Care is a non-emergency medical clinic that treats minor health conditions on a first-come, first-served basis. EZ Care is open Monday–Friday, from 9 am–7 pm, and weekends, from 8 am–4 pm, closing only on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Family Nurse Practitioners Lori Carpenter and Natasha Morgan are the clinic’s full-time providers.
