Horizon Health has an opportunity for an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join
our growing organization.
Hospital Information
We are a critical access hospital and group of rural health clinics, but
much larger in scope and size than typical rural organizations. We have
cutting-edge technology, new offerings for the communities we serve, strong
specialty and primary care support, and still have the small-town approach
and values that make our organization so special. In 2024/2025, we completed
major renovations to our Emergency Department, added primary care clinics
in Tilton and Marshall, Illinois, and expanded physical therapy services
into Terre Haute, Indiana.
Behavioral Health Information
We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible
Psychiatrist who is licensed in Illinois to join our growing team.
This role will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range
of mental health and behavioral disorders, manage medication regimens,
provide psychotherapy, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and clinical interviews for
adult and/or adolescent patients.
Formulate, implement, and adjust individualized treatment and medication
management plans.
Monitor treatment efficacy, side effects, and patient progress toward recovery goals.
Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
Collaborate closely with licensed therapists, social workers, and medical
staff in a team-based environment.
Provide collaboration for behavioral health Advance Practice Providers.

Salary range:$280-$400K, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and the potential
to contribute to the growth and success of the practice.
