Support Groups

Horizon Health offers free support groups to help individuals cope with life’s many challenges.

Bariatric Support Group

For current or previous patients of Horizon Health’s bariatric program (Center for Weight Management). Spouses, family members, and friends are welcome to attend.

One Tuesday per month (as advertised)
5:30–6:30 pm, Horizon Health main campus

Compassionate Friends Bereavement Group

Provides ongoing bereavement support for people coping with the loss of a loved one. This is an open group with no registration required.

Second Monday of each month

3-4 pm, Horizon Health main campus (2nd floor/Paris Clinic West)

Cancer Friendship Group

Offers a network of encouragement and compassion for all cancer survivors, their family members, friends, and caregivers.

Fourth Tuesday of each month

Caregivers Support Group

For caregivers, family members, or friends of someone diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or other chronic disease.

Third Wednesday of each month

Grief Support Group

For individuals who have lost a loved one. Provides emotional support and effective ways that promote healing after a loss

Parkinson’s Support Group

For individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

First and third Wednesday of each month

Cardiopulmonary Support Group

Learn to manage stress, depression and anxiety, handle anger, and cope with lifestyle changes and nutrition. This support group is open to the public. You do not need to be enrolled in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Program to attend.

First Wednesday of each month
12:15–12:45 pm (Matters of the Heart)
12:45–1:15 pm (Heart Smart Nutrition with Horizon Health Dietitians)
