Horizon Health is hosting two events in observance of National Wear Red Day in February.
In addition to its annual “Wear Red” women’s luncheon, an evening program will be offered. Both events will take place Friday, February 7, at Betty Jane’s Banquet Hall, 1249 N Main Street, in Paris.
The luncheon is from noon to 1 pm. Speakers Dr. Micah Thompson and Sara Conn, family medicine providers at Horizon Health, will discuss risk factors for heart disease and prevention strategies. The cost is $20.
The evening event is from 5:30 to 7 pm. Speaker Latia Summerville, cardiology nurse practitioner at Horizon Health, will discuss general heart health. The cost is $30 per person and will include a paint and pour class, appetizers, and two drink tickets.
All community women are encouraged to wear red and bring their sisters, daughters, coworkers, and friends to the events.
Seating is limited for both events. Registration is required at MyHorizonHealth.org/WearRed.
