Horizon Health’s telemedicine program allows patients to meet with their providers from the comfort of their own homes. To participate, you need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with video capabilities and internet access.
Telemedicine is available for primary care clinics in Paris, Chrisman, and Oakland, Like an in-person visit, a telemedicine appointment is scheduled in advance.
Note that telemedicine visits are billed through insurance like a typical in-person office visit.
How it works:
Before your appointment:
Our telemedicine program uses Zoom, an online communication software that is available for all electronic devices.
Smartphone/Tablet –Download the Zoom application ahead of your appointment through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android).
Desktop/Laptop –You will be directed to the Zoom website where your appointment will take place.
